The Ark Clothing Co. makes clothes under The Ark brand, many pieces branded The Ark are Australian Designed and Manufactured in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Some pieces produced for The Ark brand, such as knitwear and accessories are designed in Melbourne, and made globally, due to the niche skills and technologies required to produce these pieces. We work collaboratively with makers who understand our passion for integrity, creativity, and quality.

Over the span of our 30 years in business we have developed strong and honest relationships with our Australian and global suppliers, manufacturers, and providers, enabling growth of their business along ours.

We embrace design and a range of fabrications such as linen, organic cotton and wool mixes. Using natural fabrics, such as those, and others, is positive for the environment because they are biodegradable, renewable, and often require fewer synthetic chemicals during production, reducing pollution and waste. Our commitment to a more sustainable industry is ongoing and we acknowledge that more work can be done for the future.
