Mosman is a picture-perfect waterside suburb just 8km North east of Sydney’s Central Business District.

A stunning Victorian terrace originally built in 1886, now restored and transformed into a luxurious boutique hotel. Located on Cowles Road in Mosman, offering 26 deluxe suites, and just a short walk to Military Road shopping precinct, The Albert is the place to stay. We love the unique experience The Albert has to offer (especially waking up to a chef cooked breakfast!)

For a picturesque stay and stunning views over Sydney Harbour, we can’t go past View Hotel…the name says it all. There is a delicious on-site restaurant and bar and we love that room service is offered if we want to stay in. View is 5km east of Mosman; all the convenience of being out of the hustle and bustle of the city and incredible harbour views. Even your pooch is welcome!

Military Road is Mosman’s premier shopping destination and home to our Ark Mosman boutique so we know this is the place you’ll find everything you need and more. Pick up a take away coffee at ‘Mosman Coffee’ before starting your adventure weaving through the fashion, galleries, cafes and antique stores of Military Road.

This is an absolute must for all fans of May Gibbs, the renowned author of the famous ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie’. Take a walk through the magical gardens of ‘Nutcote’ then entrench yourself in the architecturally designed walls of her beautiful home. We love that ‘Nutcote’ is filled with volunteers who are passionate about continuing May Gibbs’ legacy through the generations. The Tea Room is where you can stop for refreshments with scones and cakes freshly baked by the generous volunteers…delicious!

After something a little more relaxing? Pack your book, some tasty snacks picked up from Harris Farm Markets on Military Road and head to the stunning waters of Chinaman’s Beach. Located towards the northern point of Mosman, this is the ideal place to relax, reset and listen to the water gently washing over the rocks… (This is where you’ll find us!)

Eat & Drink...

Our favourite brunch spot in Mosman…the incredible views over the bay while enjoying your morning coffee and brioche French toast is what makes this place special. In full holiday mode? Champagne and mimosas are available all day. In our eyes, the Bathers Pavilion is heaven on earth.

The Public Dining Room is where we go to enjoy a delicious meal while we watch the sunset. Designing their menu around the finest seasonal Australian produce, every dish is curated beautifully with meticulous care. If you’re dining with a friend, the slow cooked lamb shoulder for two is our recommendation!

Whether you are catching up with a group or looking for somewhere to enjoy an evening drink, The Fernery on Military road is perfect. Special events and dining packages are offered regularly here so there is always something to look forward to. Our absolute favourite is jazz night which is held on the first Friday of every month. Pop in and enjoy the atmosphere!
