SUMMER FRUIT SANGRIA
Hit refresh all summer long with this sweet and punchy white sangria, because it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere…
1/2 medium peach thinly sliced
1 cup cubed seedless watermelon
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
5 to 6 slices lime
1/4 cup St. Germain elderflower liqueur
1 to 2 tablespoons agave nectar, to taste
Ice, for serving
1. In a large pitcher, combine the watermelon, peach, raspberries, strawberries and lime. Pour in the St. Germain, followed by the entire bottle of Verdelho. Gently stir with a big spoon to combine. Allow to chill in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours (the longer, the better).
2. Taste and add agave nectar if the sangria isn’t quite sweet enough for you. Serve sangria in chilled tumblers, over ice.
For a non alcoholic alternative, just replace the wine and liqueur with sparkling mineral water.
